I began a 30-day challenge to walk 5K a day to pull myself out of a motivational rut. While walking I realized I needed something more than fear of ill health to keep me on target so decided to combine something I like (walking) with something I love (writing haikus). So was born 5K Haiku A Day. I take a photo with my i_phone and have ten minutes to write a haiku. I enjoyed the challenge, made it for 25 days.
